Interviews, posts, and more.

Just a few updates to keep the ball rolling here.

I interviewed Claudia Mair Burney on her publisher, covers, and what she thinks can be done. Hopefully that interview will be back here soon. I ordered her book Wounded yesterday.

The Color Online Blog has set up a Facebook page for those who wish to join in the boycott on Bloomsbury.

Black Teens Read Too have a wonderful post on their feelings behind the white washed covers and provide ideas on what you can do.

You can sign the I'll Buy the Book petition.

If I am missing anything please let me know. I will be updating the book list this weekend. If anyone wants to help maintain the blog please let me know!

  1. Pam, I'd be willing to help maintain the blog--just let me know how I can help. :)

Are you going to put up a post to link up reviews here?

  2. Yeah see I need some guiding and assistance. Can you send me your email...I will give you the log-in and you can set yourself up with whatever permissions and stuff you need and put a link up for yourself things like that :D

The most pressing parts are author list, (like you mentioned and I forgot) link list for reviews (I have a Mr. Linky paid account is that helpful?) and book list.

  3. Pam,

Black Teens is now Reading In Color.

Boycott page will come down and we now have Readers Against WhiteWashing. Facebook is public so everyone can find links to incidents and resources without having a FB account.

Working on my POC post now. I have your button already at both blogs and linked on our FB page.

Thanks for taking the lead on this.
