2011 Prize List

Everybody loves prizes and just like last year, this year we have some fabulous ones. I'm still working on the grand prize.

If you're new to the challenge, how it works is that each month I draw a winner using and then that winner picks one book from the prize list. To be in the drawing you must remember to link up your reviews. If the book you pick is not able to be shipped to you because of it being international, we will try and work something else out.

*Note: Some of these books star main characters who are not poc BUT there is a secondary character of color who plays a huge role in the book.

  1. Awesome prizes! So excited! I will be posting my first review tonight, for The Latte Rebellion!

  2. This is a great prize list. I wish I could enter for Teenie!

  3. I recently found this blog. I wanted to share the link below to an article in Madame Noire titled: "Our Living Literary Treasures" ... though there may be a better place on this blog for this type of reference. I look forward to exploring this blog further and reading some of the great books that are recommended.

  4. I really liked The Trouble With Half a Moon, so it's great to see it on this prize list! :) I've got Silver Phoenix (the pretty hardcover version) sitting here on my TBR and really looking forward to reading it. And OMG I've been looking forward to reading N.K. Jemison's The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms too... Great prize list Ari!
